Hashem Alkhalidi

Hashem is the Managing Director of ReshapeRisks and the Principal advisor, establishing ReshapeRisks to become a dedicated firm to the region’s space opportunities.

Hashem started his career in foreign service for Greece before moving into intergovernmental trade affairs, working on regional trade between the EU and an Arab Mediterranean trade bloc. These roles built an instinct for how governments actually decide and how things can be moved forward, beyond the formal process.

Hashem also worked for a European drone manufacturer, then into government relations consulting in the space sector. Watching operators repeatedly fail to engage the Arab world on its own terms, he founded ReshapeRisks to close that gap.

Hashem holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Jordan and a Masters in Public Policy from the United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology, in the Netherlands.
